MolcaWorld is collaborating in the construction of Real Zaragoza’s temporary modular stadium

Last July, the modular Ibercaja Stadium was inaugurated. Owned by La Nueva Romareda, it will serve as the temporary home of Real Zaragoza for the next two seasons. The construction, completed in a record time of just four months, began in February and has a capacity of up to 20,071 spectators.

Nussli, a Swiss company specializing in temporary infrastructure and fast-track construction projects, and La Nueva Romareda—a joint venture formed by the Government of Aragón, the Zaragoza City Council, and Real Zaragoza—entrusted MolcaWorld with the external cladding of the stadium. The work involved paneling the lower section and installing tarpaulins on the upper part of the structure.

Once the external work was completed, Real Zaragoza also relied on MolcaWorld for the design, manufacturing, and implementation of the locker rooms, providing functional solutions tailored to the club’s specific needs.

Through this dual collaboration in the project, MolcaWorld reaffirms its expertise in delivering high-level projects within the sports sector, offering innovative solutions that meet tight deadlines. The trust placed in the company by both Nussli and Construcciones Mariano López Navarro (as joint venture partners), as well as La Nueva Romareda, highlights MolcaWorld’s commitment to excellence and consolidates its role as a strategic partner in major sports infrastructure projects.
