MolcaWorld Adapts the New Identity of the Faculty of Teacher Training at the University of Valencia

The University of Valencia has taken a significant step in updating its academic identity by renaming the former Faculty of Education (Facultad de Magisterio), which will now be known as the Faculty of Teacher Training. This decision responds to the need for a broader, more representative name that is aligned with current times.

The choice of the new name is based on several important reasons: to adopt a term that encompasses the full range of academic programs and recognizes educators at all educational levels; to align the name with other public faculties across the country—since it was the only one still using the term “Magisterio”; and to make its translation into English easier, a key language in the international academic community.

To carry out this transformation, the University of Valencia entrusted MolcaWorld with the entire process of designing, producing, and installing the new signage. The project included the replacement and restoration of the dimensional lettering on the building’s facade, the renewal of vinyl decals on doors and windows displaying the former name, and the installation of informational totems at the faculty’s entrances and in the physical expression classroom—all featuring the new identity.

With this project, MolcaWorld reinforces its role as a strategic partner in implementing high-impact institutional changes, ensuring a coherent and carefully executed visual transition that reflects the essence of this new chapter for the Faculty of Teacher Training.
