The historic José Zorrilla Stadium will have a MolcaWorld label

With more than a quarter of a century of history and the experience of having participated in the revitalisation of more than 30 stadiums in Spain, MolcaWorld will put its stamp on another historic venue. Real Valladolid wants to celebrate its return to LaLiga EA Sports by changing the exterior skin of the Estadio José Zorrilla.

Revitalización de la fachada del Estadio José Zorrilla

The relationship between MolcaWorld and Real Valladolid is not new, without going any further, our designs and implementations of areas such as the players’ interior corridors, the tunnel leading to the pitch, the mixed zone or the experiential tunnel area are not new. But this time it has gone a step further. As the club itself has admitted, ‘we will leave behind the grey to give José Zorrilla a corporate identity’.

The works will start this June and are expected to be completed this September. In approximately three months, the fans of Valladolid will be able to enjoy a stadium that will proudly display the colours and signs of identity of an almost centenary team. From MolcaWorld, Fran Carrasco (CEO) said he was ‘proud that this company can become part, in a certain way, of the history of a stadium and a club with the entity and the sporting importance of Real Valladolid’.

MolcaWorld specialises in making sports venues profitable through experiential architecture. Our hallmark extends to stadiums such as the comprehensive work carried out in Mestalla (Valencia), Metropolitano (Madrid), Balaídos (Vigo), Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán (Seville), Benito Villamarín (Seville) and Ciudad de Valencia (Valencia). We have also acted in hot zones of stadiums such as RCDE Stadium (Barcelona), El Sadar (Pamplona) or La Rosaleda (Málaga), or in the sports cities of Valencia C.F., R.C.D. Espanyol de Barcelona or R.C. Celta de Vigo. But we have not only taken part in stadiums, we have also been present in events such as the Davis Cup, the Ferrari World Finals, look&feel and signage for the Cheste and Aragón circuits in different editions of the Motorcycle World Championship, the European Formula 1 Grand Prix held in Valencia, the 2007 and 2010 editions of the America’s Cup sailing competition or the World Padel Tour in different editions, among other events.
